I'm a nurse on an orthopedic floor. I have loved fantasy books since I read the Redwall series when I was a tweenager. I was a nerd before it was cool.

About the blog:

To wind down from the daily grind, I read books. Mostly fantasy books. I like being able to escape into another world, hence the blog title. There will be some nursing posts thrown in, but there will be a lot of fantastical fiction.
